The people of Prince of Life feel strongly that God’s love needs to be put into action.

The congregation is involved with the following outreach programs:

Love INC

Love Inc (Love In the Name of Christ) is a Clackamas County network of church volunteers who help community members in need.

Start Right

Start Right is a county project that provides school kits to needy school children in September. Each year over 1400 backpacks are assembled in August.

Backpack Buddies

Oregon City’s Backpack Buddies program is a non-profit organization in cooperation with the Oregon Food Bank. Backpack Buddies, part of a network of churches, provide food-insecure school kids with nourishing food over the weekend, holidays, and other times of need.

S.O.N.

S.O.N. (Serving Our Neighbor) is a network of churches that house and feeds homeless families with children through the Annie Ross House in Milwaukie. The S.O.N. ministry runs October through March.

Bunk Bed Ministry

Bunk Bed Ministry builds bed sets for needy kids in Clackamas County. Our Peace by Piece Quilters provide a handmade quilt, and our Faith Formation kids make pillowcases.

ELCA Relief

Lutheran World Hunger Relief and the Lutheran Disaster Relief Fund of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America receive funding through our congregation’s giving

HOPE

HOPE (Helping Other People Eat) Oregon City food pantries are distribution sites for USDA and Oregon Food Bank perishable and non-perishable food. Prince of Life Lutheran donates monetarily. Its members and visitors donate food and money to purchase food.
