Opportunities for Children and Youth

       Pre-K through Fifth Grade

Sunday Faith Formation is from 9:30-10:30am. This year we are using "Dig In," from Group Resources, and the theme is "Digging in to Discipleship."

Sunday mornings from 9:40-10:30, during the school year, our middle school and high school youth discuss what it means to follow Jesus.

Once a month, the fourteen Lutheran churches in Clackamas County team up for a great Sunday evening activity with 40 to 50 other youth! On September 9, we meet for a games and pool party in Gladstone. October will be the annual Corn Maze in Aurora!

Our 6th, 7th and 8th graders learn the basics of the Christian faith, with Lutheran distinctives, during the school year. Confirmation class is Sundays at noon. We start up again September 23.

We team up with Pastor John Stevens and the middle schoolers of Zion Lutheran, Oregon City.

ELCA Youth Gathering in Minneapolis, 2021

We just retuned from the ELCA Youth Gathering in Houston, and we're taking a group of high school students and adults to Minneapolis for the 2021 Youth Gathering.  Watch for details about the lefse sale fundsraiser during Advent!

Faith Formation is fostered most deeply at home!
Faith formation materials for home use are under the Resources bar. Click on “Vibrant Faith @Home” for creative ways to pray, hear God’s voice in Scripture, offer service as a family, and more!
