Opportunities for Children and Youth

       Pre-K through Fifth Grade

Sunday Faith Formation is from 9:30-10:30am, using the same Bible lessons that Pastor John is preaching on.

Sunday mornings from 9:40-10:30, during the school year, our middle school and high school youth discuss what it means to follow Jesus. The current series is called, Banned Questions About Jesus and the Bible. Pastor John facilitates the discussion.

March 5th at 1pm, we'll enjoy pizza and put together kits to hand out as we see folks who might be homeless.

Once a month, the fourteen Lutheran churches in Clackamas County team up for a great Sunday evening activity with 40 to 50 other youth! Recently we heard an  Native American young woman talk about her trip to Standing Rock, and on March 12 we will have a clean-up day at Barton Park, followed by games and snacks at St. Paul of Damascus.

Our 6th, 7th and 8th graders learn the basics of the Christian faith, with Lutheran distinctives, during the school year. Confirmation class is Sundays at noon.

We team up with Pastor John Stevens and the middle schoolers of Zion Lutheran, Oregon City.

Faith Formation is fostered most deeply at home!
Faith formation materials for home use are under the Resources bar. Click on “Vibrant Faith @Home” for creative ways to pray, hear God’s voice in Scripture, offer service as a family, and more!
