Opportunities for Children and Youth

       Pre-K through Fifth Grade

Sunday Faith Formation is from 9:30-10:30am, using the same Bible lessons that Pastor John is preaching on. We follow the school year, so Sunday Faith Formation will begin again September 10th.

Sunday mornings from 9:40-10:30, during the school year, our middle school and high school youth discuss what it means to follow Jesus. The Spring discussion was "Banned Questions About Jesus and the Bible."

Once a month, the fourteen Lutheran churches in Clackamas County team up for a great Sunday evening activity with 40 to 50 other youth! In the Spring, we heard an  Native American young woman talk about her trip to Standing Rock, and had a clean-up day at Barton Park, followed by games and snacks at St. Paul of Damascus. Watch for activities to begin again this fall.

Our 6th, 7th and 8th graders learn the basics of the Christian faith, with Lutheran distinctives, during the school year. Confirmation class is Sundays at noon. We'll start again in September.

We team up with Pastor John Stevens and the middle schoolers of Zion Lutheran, Oregon City.

Faith Formation is fostered most deeply at home!
Faith formation materials for home use are under the Resources bar. Click on “Vibrant Faith @Home” for creative ways to pray, hear God’s voice in Scripture, offer service as a family, and more!
